Uma reflexão pós-apocalíptica sobre fé, memória e extinção.
Aconteceu uma catástrofe. Uma mulher luta por sobreviver, um homem agoniza. Através do diálogo entre os seus dois corpos em envelhecimento, Promise of fallen time aborda o nosso pavor de perder aquilo de que mais gostamos – o ser amado, a nossa vida. Na fronteira entre o performativo, o ficcional e o poético, o filme contempla serenamente o frágil fenómeno de estar vivo.

A post-apocalypse meditation on faith, memory and extinction.
There has been a disaster. A woman journeys to survive, a man awaits death. Through a dialogue between their two ageing bodies Promise of fallen time considers our dread to lose that which we are most attached to – a loved one, ourselves. In the margins between the performative, the fictive and the poetic, the film quietly observes the trembling phenomenon of being alive.
