ETERNAL é uma curta-metragem de dança moderna que tem a resistência como tema. Neste caso a resistência política e cultural do povo Palestiniano.
Nela vemos a lenta mudança da forma tradicional do lamento para movimentos irados. Estes movimentos tornam-se unificados e atiram-se com frustração contra uma parede. Ao mesmo tempo um pintor de ícones dentro de uma igreja percebe a perturbação lá fora. Ele escapa do topo da igreja para proteger uma lampada de óleo sagrado – um símbolo nacional de esperança na Palestina – que é mantido numa caverna em baixo. Filmado em Beit Jella como parte de um intercambio cultural entre o Teatro de Dança Moderna irlandês – Dublin, Irlanda – e o Teatro Al Harah– Beit Jella – Territórios palestinos.

ETERNAL is a short modern dance film which takes resistance as its theme. In this case the political and cultural resistance of the Palestinian people.
In it we see the slow traditional form of lament change to angry movements. These movements become unified and throw themselves in frustration at a wall. At the same time an icon painter inside a church senses the disturbance outside. He retreats from the top of the church to protect a sacred oil lamp – a national symbol of hope in Palestine – which is kept in cave underneath.
Shot in Beit Jella as a part of a cultural exchange between the Irish Modern Dance Theatre – Dublin, Ireland – and Al Harah Theatre – Beit Jella – Palestinian Territories.
